The Passaggio Foundation, with Manuela Ochakovski as artistic director, organizes 2 very interesting activities for professional singers.<\/strong>

On 4 and 5 April 2025<\/strong> a Masterclass with Andrew Watts<\/a> (British countertenor and director of the
International Vocal Competition in Den Bosch).

It went fast. In a few weeks’ time, Andrew Watts’ masterclass on April 4 and 5 is fully booked.

If you would like to see 8 young professionals at work together with a world-famous singer, you are very welcome as an observer.
The entrance fee is \u20ac 20,– per day. For both days: \u20ac 30,– including coffee, tea and soft drinks.
You have to take care of your own lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6 april 2025<\/strong>, a workshop with Josef Fuchs<\/a>, casting director of the Reisopera.

MOTIVATION – WORKSHOP<\/strong>
There are only 3 places available for Josef Fuchs’ workshop on 6 April. In this workshop, Josef learns that the professional participants are not only singers but also artistic entrepreneurs.
The profession of a classical singer requires these days a wider set of skills, and a profound understanding of the artist’s position within the larger picture. This is where the workshop “artistic entrepreneurship\u201d can provide excellent help by stimulating new perspectives on career choices and fine-tuning decision making that is in line with the individual profile and qualities of the artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop focusses on essential performance skills that are not connected to the vocal cords but as important to help build a successful business strategy. In a group setting we will elaborate on specific given and improvised topics, in a mix of lecture, dialogue and group sessions. This way the collective know-how can be empowered by exchanging experiences and creating valuable synergies. Other key elements of the workshop will focus on widening the network and awareness of each participant for their own professional journey.
